Serious NVT Meeting?

I was browsing the TCI website yesterday and just looking at random places and so many facilities are still trending well below their pre covid numbers, some 2-3 levels down. Seems like it would be a bloodbath if they looked at downgrades now.

maybe they can do an upgrade only meeting to look at some of the non commercial places that have been doing well.

Our facility got shafted last year. We were above the breakpoint for 5 months. For whatever reason, the NVT couldn't meet on Zoom to upgrade us. We went back down below the breakpoint, but above the downgrade buffer. We met all the upgrade requirements of the contract. Our RVP or the NVT won't tell us shit, like are we eligible for back pay? It's even more frustrating to see a facility like ARR upgraded after only 4 months above the breakpoint.

Technically being above for 3 months doesn’t guarantee an upgrade. You also have to pass an audit. Yes you got screwed because covid probably squashed your audit.

You can’t really see the current traffic in TCI until there’s 12 months of data. So there’s likely many facilities that are running normal pre covid traffic but will still display in the red until basically Spring 2022ish. Because there’s still about 7 months of covid traffic in the 12 month sample.

We had the 12 months of data. We had just gotten an upgrade from a 6 to 7 a few months earlier, so they knew our traffic.

Our RVP pretty much said downgrades probably won't happen because it may be a bad look for the Core 30.

The 12 months post was a reply to someone else. The reply to yours was above it

I personally think all of this is horseshit. They won’t downgrade facilities because of covid but they also won’t upgrade facilities because of it. Held the breakpoint for 3 months and a solid outlook but then covid hit. Now back to making up the 60 points we lost while working busier traffic than pre covid.

Seems like every GA pilot and their mother has been flying this year.

Is the NVT meeting supposed to be quarterly?
They say they'll meet quarterly. And then a pandemic happens and they start making up rules on the fly. It doesn't say it anywhere in writing. They complained it was too "hard" to hold a meeting last June because their bandwidth made it hard to do zoom meetings? And then they got awards at the end of the year? Sounds like the government lol. There's so many things jacked about the wording in the NVT/upgrade/downgrade part of the contract it's enraging.

When did the earth decide that you need video to have a phone call? We used to have conference calls just on the phone for 100 years

They probably need to be able to see each of their individual PowerPoints while they talk about it. They can't just send them to each other and say "next slide" while on a standard call. That's one extra step too many.
