AOC fleeing NY when they were having a Covid outbreak for a sunny FL vacation, and then catching it herself, is the perfect Dem way to respond to Cruz doing that, by doing something just as bad. ?
I mean, a broken clock is right twice a day, and he’s right for this grilling.
Yeah, I think the example Cruz
Oh look, straw is on sale again!
When policies and peoples lives are being altered based on the perceived threat of a disease, that distinction is absolutely important.
Now I know you’re just living in fantasy land.
They don’t ignore it at all.
Literally the video in the post lol.
…because that’s when she was interviewed on CNN…
…which is outdated information, based on her own words in the video on Sunday.
I’m presenting fact and you’re just pretending it doesn’t exist.
Yeah, an op-Ed supporting my point about how ridiculous these mandates are. It’s a good piece.
"You’re trying to dismiss critiquing of a politician for spreading misinformation solely because they’re a politician. I think thats ridiculous."
Dismissing it? I'm welcoming it without a fight.
"Oh look, straw is on sale again!"
Love how you start with strawman and then prove my exact point.
"When policies and peoples lives are being altered based on the perceived threat of a disease, that distinction is absolutely important."
Policies were made because there is a virus that has killed 800,000-1,000,000 people. I'm not going to say distinction has no use, but conservatives have 100% used that distinction to support their lunacratic notion that this is no different than the flu, and that our lives shouldn't change in any way, shape, or form.
"Now I know you’re just living in fantasy land.
"In Washington state, for example, a May 2020 report
found that the state’s health department was “overreporting COVID-19 cases by up to 13 percent by counting anyone who ‘tests positive for COVID-19 and subsequently dies’ as a coronavirus death.” A subsequent investigation found that Washington health officials appeared to be doing it again in December of the same year.
In Colorado, gunshot victims were also
counted among COVID death tallies if the victims had “tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 30 days.” And local authorities in Florida
counted a man who died in a motorcycle crash as a COVID victim in July 2020.""
Again, what is the point of this except to say Covid deaths are overreported? And again, using the excess deaths tables its pretty obvious that if anything, Covid deaths are underreported.
"They don’t ignore it at all."
Show me how they don't ignore it. Shit, even you seem to be ignoring it. You're telling me that you can't figure out whether the 800,000+ reported Covid deaths are people who are dying "with" or "from" covid... even with a table available that shows that we've had 1,000,000 more deaths than we'd normally expect in the last year and a half?
What are they all dying "from" then, sharknadoes?
"Literally the video in the post lol."
Again, if you're using the federalist and ***tiktok smash-up videos ? ? ? ayfkm!!!*** to guide your thinking, it's no wonder you're so confused.
"…because that’s when she was interviewed on CNN…"
Are you that dense, dude? I just told you, even the article acknowledges she was interviewed in August. AUGUST. There was no CNN interview with her on Sunday.
You get that just because the date on the tweet says Sunday, doesn't mean that's when the video happened. ?
To be completely honest, you don't even need to be told it's an old interview... she mentioned the Delta Variant. If this was a Sunday interview, she'd have mentioned Omnicron.
"I’m presenting fact and you’re just pretending it doesn’t exist."
People dying with comorbidities has been long known. The "6%" statistic has been around since at least Sept 2020. I'm not denying it, I'm simply explaining how this is a minor detail in the scheme of things. If a million people die that would otherwise have lived longer (I.E, excess deaths), then talking about their comorbidities seems rather moot.
If your argument really just boils down to 'these people are mostly old and frail and don't matter, so we shouldn't alter our lifestyle to accommodate them'... then you're certainly entitled to that viewpoint.
"Yeah, an op-Ed supporting my point about how ridiculous these mandates are. It’s a good piece."
Usually people who use logic and reason can make good points.
