How is the local area? I’m seeing a 67% pass rate, why so many failures? How do you like the management and other controllers? How hard is it to transfer out after rating, if one so desired?

Training data is based on 2015 or earlier numbers. I’ve been here since 2016 and everyone since I’ve been here has certified. Lots of younger controllers work here now and we are relatively tight-knit and hang out regularly outside of work. Management is better than most places and we had a good relationship with them til the new ATM came in and tried to shake things up. As far as transferring goes you will be competing with a few other people trying to leave, but we get new controllers from the academy and the prior exp. bid semi-regularly to replace those leaving.
