Depends on the facility. Some places networking is basically all of it. Some it's not so helpful. I think most people would say that it's useful most places though.Does anybody know if networking makes a difference?

I just went to tour a facility I put in for last panel, and the ATM told me my name was never on his list to pick from, he even checked it again while I was there to make sure. I know my facility was a CAT 1, and I have a confirmation email from hr saying my application was in. I know it's the past and theres nothing I can do now, but is there an explanation on why this could have happened? I have ERRs in this next panel, but now I'm paranoid my name is never going to show on their list either.

The numbers were locked when the PPT updated. My facility just had someone check out and now we have numbers to release. Can this PPT be updated or were the numbers locked in when it came out for this ncept?
So our tower admin just updated our workbook today to reflect someone that got certified 6 weeks ago to put us above the number. In theory now we should be able to release someone. You’re saying it’s too late? The numbers were locked when the PPT updated.
Your next chance will be the October NCEPT.
If it happened 6 weeks ago and just got updated today you need to get your RVP involved because it has to get fixed before the manager's list comes out. Which is probably really soon.So our tower admin just updated our workbook today to reflect someone that got certified 6 weeks ago to put us above the number. If natca was really concerned about ncept being done correctly, they'd have someone verifying each facility's numbers too. So in cases like this, it's shared between natca/faa screwing people over. At this point in time, I'm shocked that the local natca reps don't verify every number corresponding to their facility.it's up to you to not let the agency screw you.
They do. It's the facility rep. If your rep sucks then you can get run over or you can take care of yourself.Yeah, when the PPT came out, that's when someone at your facility should have recognized that the extra CPC wasn't counted yet. Manager's ranking list is next week I think, so I'm betting at this point there's nothing that will be done about it now

I've visited 14 of the 16 facilities I have in for- I'll let you know, hahaDoes anybody know if networking makes a difference?
You in a metro area with tons of facilities around you? Or taking flights every weekend?I've visited 14 of the 16 facilities I have in for- I'll let you know, haha
Nope.. the complete opposite. In fact, I've been to 21 facilities (other than my own, haha). I have spent the past 2 vacations and 2 FDTs going and touring and meeting people. I still very much think that "it's all about who you know." Like I said, I'll keep y'all posted if it pays off. No joke, thousands of dollars trying to do everything I can to advance my career ?You in a metro area with tons of facilities around you? Or taking flights every weekend?
They should've had the names last Friday. Tomorrow the ranking list opens and Friday it closes.Does anyone know what day the ATMs get the list of names, and when they have to have their list in by for this panel?
