Never worked there but have worked in that district for a long time and know lots of people that have been there. Now this is talking to people that have been there, so NOT 1st hand information. The moral of the facility overall is pretty good. Area by area some are better then others. They do have 1 area that is a lot lower then the rest. That same area has an extremely high wash out rate too. Even with controllers that have level 8 and below up down experience. 6 day work weeks is pretty normal there and the union is pretty solid at NCT. If you have a solid radar background or don't mind the grind of around 3 years of training go to max hours on each position it's totally worth it. Sacramento is a very underrated city to live in and you will live well with the pay there

Is it still like this now? Friend of mine is in training and he and his wife hate it there. Both work and personal life.
