Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Currently in a CTI program but applied ahead of graduation next May. Is the Biographical Assessment supposed to be taken before you submit your application? If so, was the BA the several dozen questions the FAA's website had me answer before hitting submit?

I plan to re-take the test. I felt well prepared from the test prep program I used, and believe I did great on the first 3 sections, but I think having a better understanding of the radar simulation test will help my scores. Then, it just comes down to the word and logic problems... which I also thought I did pretty well with.

I really wish I knew what qualification band I fell in last year. This is my final bid.

This may have already been asked, but how long does it normally take to find out if your application has been approved or disapproved?

I plan to call and ask once I get invited to take the ATSA. Maybe they'll let slip some advice on whether or not to re-take it ?

If you're just referring to the next step in the process (application accepted, invited to take ATSA) then anywhere from 1.5-3 months sounds about right based on last year's bid.

Ok, thank you.

This thread and the reddit thread sure do seem slower compared to last year. I'm not sure if it's because we're mostly all the same people from the previous bid applying again. It'll be interesting to see the number of applicants when someone gets a hold of those numbers. *wink wink

Call HR. They will tell you which band your score is in.

I dunno, I looked at the thread from last year and it took about 13 days after the job posting before we reached page 6. This thread is actually a little faster than last year. Got info about the bid after day 15. Day 21 was when people starting getting disqualified after being HR reviewed. Just a interesting tidbit of the timeline if ya'll were interested while we wait.

Yeah I think a lot of the messages this year are, "Hey I remember you from last year!" Lol, we'll see what happens in the long hall. I hope it stays smaller, makes me feel like I have a better chance at getting a TOL

I finished my application and it says "received" does anyone know when they will notify me about taking the Biographical assessment test?
