Time to make history.I’ve never heard of anyone being picked up with a qualified score. Ever. Since the BQ and WQ score bands have been established that is. I’ve never seen it.
Lol

Is it confirmed that the 10% rule has been taken away?Really interested to see how selections are made in this bid since the 10% rule does not apply. I think the most logical move for the FAA is to only select applicants from Pool 1 and Pool 2 that scored Best Qualified. As I am sure a lot of you know, previously due to the 10% rule, quite a few Pool 1 applicants made it in with less than Best Qualified scores seemingly so that they could meet their hiring numbers (at least from what I saw in the 2019 and 2018 bids).
Indeed. Is it confirmed that the 10% rule has been taken away?
Dam, that kills my chances (P1 WQ)Indeed.

If I had to put money on it, I'd bet you'll get a TOL. No one knows anything though. We just gotta sit back and wait, this bid is weird...Dam, that kills my chances (P1 WQ)
really? i thought everyone got referred(a handful of plain Qualified’s have said they were not referred that took the test during this window).

No one knows how it is graded. And grading on these tests tend to change year to year.I have taken the ATSA 2 times previously and gotten Well Qualified Not Referred Pool 2 and for the previous times I used the practice software to study. This time I did none of prep and felt I didn't do as well on the first half of the test and got Best Qualified Pool 2. I really don't know how it works but I was always under the impression that the ATSA was not weighted test or anything. It would seem like the whole carrying over score thing would get crazy complicated if it was.
What Facebook group are you referring to? I've looked for one and haven't been able to find it, using a bunch of different keywords, including this announcement numbernope. Are you in the CTI facebook group? Or the 2020 bid group on Facebook? There have been a handful of people say they took it and only scored “qualified” and their status shows “not referred”. So it looks like they could’ve only referred enough to fulfill their hiring goal for this year after all since it was a small pool. But we know nothing lol it’s all just speculation. But what we do know is that not everyone was referred. It seems the majority was, but not everyone. So they definitely have a reasoning for referring all BQ’s and WQ’s and then a select amount of Q’s

This is similar to what happened to me. Used the prep material in 2019 and got WQ. This time, I did ZERO prep and just grabbed a coffee instead before the test. Got BQ. I do remember nailing every section except for aircraft collision. I gave zero fucks to the mathmatics and maybe got three/four of those right. Had about 10 collisions. I thought I bombed the last two SAT-style questions.I have taken the ATSA 2 times previously and gotten Well Qualified Not Referred Pool 2 and for the previous times I used the practice software to study. Pool 2, Q, Referred. Mad about it hahaHey everyone,
So I was a little eager and bored at work this morning so I had some time to compile an Excel spreadsheet of our scores and pools for this bid. I think I got everyone that posted here that were able to test. If you have Excel, you can sort however you want it, but I have it sorted by Pool and then Score. For some people on this forum, I was not able to determine or find what Pool they were considered, so I placed Question Marks in for their Pool, but still recorded what data I knew. Thought this could really help us get a visual of what our scores look like for this bid.
