Looking for information on this facility. Training program, facility morale, NATCA/management relationship, where controllers live, etc.

Anyone work here that can answer some questions? Thinking about putting in paperwork here.
I work at CVG now. Send me a PM if you have any questions. The updated training success rate isn't a really good indicator of the current training atmosphere. From what I heard there was just a string of bad trainees that came thru. I have been here since 03/2020 and there have been about 14-15 CPC-ITs since then. Only one has withdrawn and the 7 remaining are all looking good and only still in training due to the COVID backlog. It's definitely not a cakewalk but the training program and overall atmosphere is really good. If you want to get into a 9 with a low cost of living and a structure that will prepare you for a higher-level facility then I would definitely consider.

Ok, so a string of bad trainees is an accurate description of the training success rate. CVG is a great level 9. Been below the threshold to get downgraded for over 3 years and no end in sight.

Yea I'm not sure what the holdup is with that downgrade. It's a fair thing to assume that being back into the 9 threshold is imminent with the Amazon project being completed in the coming years but who knows. Either way, cost of living is low and it's a good place to work.
