No. You can’t just choose to go there. You’d need to ERR or hardship. It’s considered a training failureWould it be possible for a developmental to transfer to ZNY from another center?
I haven’t started training and it seems like now would be a good time to do it. I know you can choose ZNY at the academy and get it, does it work the same with a transfer?
... It’s considered a training failure
It does.It may count in the facility's statistics as a training failure, but I'm fairly sure it does NOT count against the developmental as a training failure.
It does.
2 successive training failures "could" result in termination.I believe if you transfer in training it’s considered a training failure. 2 successive and you can get fired. Just consider that when you consider transferring. (Assuming you’ve never been certified anywhere else)
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong
Is this a grammar correction? Can and could are literally different tenses of the same word2 successive training failures "could" result in termination.
I believe it's in the contract like that.Is this a grammar correction? Can and could are literally different tenses of the same word
We have someone in our building that ERR'd to a level 12 washed, returned to previous facility and failed to recertify, then sent to a different area in the building and again failed to certify. I was told that the union and management have never actually seen a case like this and they don't know what to do. So far the person is still employed and just waiting to see what happens. I was told they might get a staff job. I know every facility isn't like this but there is a chance you won't be fired especially if you have a lot of time in the agency.I believe it's in the contract like that.

Staff job definitely isn't a promotion... Unless you're career goals are to do nothing and be bored.Lol how do you fail to recertify at your previous facility. Shows they should of never been certified in the first place. Wow. A staff job is a promotion, so hes winning.
Was SCT the level 12 the person went to?We have someone in our building that ERR'd to a level 12 washed, returned to previous facility and failed to recertify, then sent to a different area in the building and again failed to certify. I mean if it's between not having a job or sitting at a desk. I consider it a promotionStaff job definitely isn't a promotion... Unless you're career goals are to do nothing and be bored.

Mortified rest of career is a bit extreme. But I agree with being humble. You would think someone who went through that would be more down to earth. And not walking around acting like a D bagSeen this before. Different ways. Double ODEP to supervisor, and then up the ladder. Staff jobs, TMU, etc.... happens enough it’s not uncommon.
Problem is none of these people remember the past, and are every humbled by it.
I’d be mortified the rest of my career.
Yep, maybe I should have been more vague. Was SCT the level 12 the person went to?
