Depends on the state, but likely not. What state are you, and what's your schedule for today? Most states I believe say that you're only eligible for paid time off to vote if you don't have 2/3/4 non-work hours either before or after your shift when the polls are open. It's pretty unlikely that anyone doing an 8 hour shift will be eligible for PTO to vote.

That’s fine, but in that state, and many others it also says that it has to be agreed upon between employee and employer, or requested in advance. I can’t call in the morning of my shift and take time off, or shove two hours early because I want to.
