Medical Hardship Question

Can a hardship in a situation where the employee requesting will clearly not have a medical for a while for various reasons be denied by gaining facility because they have no interest picking up someone who could not even start training for say 6 months-2 years depending on seriousness of illness? Asking for a friend, who is a CPC not a dev.

Receiving facility has no say in a hardship. You can regular ERR with no medical but can’t report until you get it back. So if you won’t get it back in time for the national release policy deadline you can usually get a deviation to extend it but not for an extended period of time like the 2 year example. I don’t know if the same restriction applies for hardship transfer.
