Thanks for the update, I didn’t know the new date. Think it will actually happen? My training was terminated at a level 6 up/down. Assuming they keep me on, how does the list process work?

No crystal balls but these circumstances could help you. Next panel is set for June, if your already in the hopper you might be at the top of the list. Plus with the academy shut down no new academy grads will take up slots at the very low level facilities you could be reassigned too.

Or we get screwed and terminated because staffing is too high for current/projected traffic. It would be an easy way to get rid of some dead weight. ?

I'm noob when it comes to this stuff. Does this mean there will be an NCEPT panel too or only NEST? Asking for a friend.

Maybe you are right, could go either way lol. At least with these delays nobody who has their training suspended will do so while under the one year probation period.
This won't happen. Due to the training hold national staffing will fall backwards again like it did during the shutdown and the dismal traffic projections are not permanent. Expect to get a list of a bunch of 5s that are below 100 projected on the ppt. Unless you didn't get any control position certs. Then termination is much more possible.
Staffing is light years away from being too high.

Not anymore, they used to after every meeting but now they don’t. I’m sure some loser washout complained that it was a “violation of their privacy”. But it’s not and that was critically important information. If gave people a really good idea of what facilities they might be offered if they go through the process, and outlined what types of places you get depending on how far you made it through training. At the very least they should redact the names and list where someone terminated/withdrew from, how far they made it, and where they were reassigned.

The NEST did meet on June 9. Received list of 8 facilities on July 17.

RNO is tight it’s got Lake Tahoe.
isnt SMO going to be closing for good then you can go anywhere. If you can afford to live there. Which you probably can’t.

I thought i saw some guy on here saying how bad rno was with washouts and smo doesnt close for another 8 years. Making level 5 pay there is going to kill you.

Yeah RNO has a low pass rate, bottom of the list it goes. Same with SMO to the bottom, LA does not appeal to me.

That and the rest of the Sierra Nevada. So much to do. Bay Area is reasonably close if you like the city. Sacramento is less than 3 hours if you like basketball.
