I'd say the 40 something people from last year's bid that were band 1 and didn't get a TOL would say no.For the record, is it even better to be pool 1?
The assumption there is that they are vets. The benefit to being pool one and vet preference is the extra points. So you go pool two, you don't get the extra points which could be the determining factor between a TOL or not. The unfortunate side of it is that you'll never know what your scores were and how close or far away you were to receiving that email.I'd say the 40 something people from last year's bid that were band 1 and didn't get a TOL would say no.
I'm confused by this. You understand he's referring to people who were in pool 1 band 1 in last year's bid who didn't get a TOL right? The assumption there is that they are vets. How do people know what band they were in at all? I thought there was no information on the scores?
I think when I read it I thought he meant pool instead of band.I'm confused by this. You understand he's referring to people who were in pool 1 band 1 in last year's bid who didn't get a TOL right?
Huh? I thought Band 1 was 80% or above, Band 2 was 70%-80%. Pool has nothing to do with scores (except people say that vet pref points are added to the score, or were in the past).
I was also selected for pool 2! I can't quite remember- is there a way to know what band you are in? I remember reading that they are not allowed to tell you your score, but correct me if I'm wrong.
