I’m really confused by this video. Going back to when this whole thing was announced, the email I received stated that “our Union is disappointed that the FAA did not collaborate with NATCA in advance of its decision and announcement today.” So now he’s saying there was a CWG? Announced in April unilateral with a 90 day be compliant time. Then work groups and collaboration to get the MOU that doesn't start until January of next year. At least that seems to be my understanding.

The original compliant time was never going to happen anyways due to local BWS MOUs. Trying to act like thr fatigue MOU is a win is a gaint slap in the face to the entire membership. It's blowing up almost every single 24 hour facilities schedules. It's going to give less rest and make more people tired.

Week of days, week of night, week of mids. Can’t remember how often we’re rotating between them all but that’s what ours is doing and definitely not screwing us over or giving us less sleep. Maybe some people will struggle with a week of mids but I’ve done them before and they are much better than the single one every week or two.

Lol so your facility's schedule was blown up, because I'm sure you didn't do that before. Leave would quickly destroy that pretty days, swings then mids rotation.

My kids dgaf what time I got home or what my schedule is. They are getting up when the get up. 100% we will get less sleep running straight mids. 100% we get less sleep utilizing the 6hr rule. I haven't heard of a single 24hr facility that isn't going to have to change. 0 members here are happy.

10/10/10/rdo/mid/rdo/rdo. It’s that easy for places that don’t want to change that much. Instead of a day shift prior to your mid you have an rdo. And you have 10 hour shifts instead. More sleep, still get your “long” weekend. Not that hard
