Like I got all my shit set up financially and now I gotta like save money monthly to make sure I can put it in the right spot in janurary. (Like I save money) but it usually goes to investments accounts so I don’t just keep a bunch Liquid. Maybe I’ll just put it all towards my Roth and then adjust my Roth contribution in jan. That’s actually a good idea.

3 month CD at the most, markets batshit and doesn't make sense, really saving the OASDI in a seperate checking account isn't too much of a biggy. Volatility is too high to risk the potential loss vs just saving it.

I Max out my Roth IRA every year regardless. So I can just invest more the next 3 months. And less the first 3 months of next year. I have it set to max at 6000 April 15 21

That's cool, do you have enough in savings to miss out in roughly $1k in January?

Considering the things you’d have to do to earn $1000 this isn’t much different than BCBS. If never had an issue getting $150 2x a year and hardly doing anything. Im pretty sure there’s options to earn quite a bit for other screenings or pregnancy, but most of those earnings don’t happen For our family or won’t happen anytime soon. BCBS has an app, but yea not great...it does sync with Other apps though. Plus I like the gym affiliation discount since we enjoy traveling and going to multiple gyms...

Other than the cash rewards...what benefits does it have? I was debating these two options last year and couldn’t find a good reason to switch.

Trump is surely finished this time! Democrats would never, and I mean NEVER attempt to influence elections.

no shit everyone tries to influence elections. That’s called campaigning. This is called “tampering” and “rigging”. And whether Democrats would or wouldn’t do that is irrelevant when the current administration is currently actually doing it. Pull your head out of your ass.

Democrats influence the elections by getting more people to want to vote for them
So that's how they kill people...

Tampering and rigging, hmmm sounds a lot like a RUSSIAN HOAX! Democrats are the ones saying they shouldn't accept the results when Biden loses. Pull your head out of your ass! That New York Koolaid got you supporting terrorists!

Got a source for that? First I’ve heard of it. Meanwhile trump out here talking about negotiating a third term. Pfft. Oh and you mah want to check out that bi-partisan senate report about Russian tampering after they made sure to do away with the impeachment hearings first.

The premiums are cheaper $180 vs 191 and things like wellness visits, specialist, and urgent care were cheaper. GEHA also provided free unlimited Teledoc appointments vs just 2 with BCBS. The part that was more expensive with GEHA was ER visits, outpatient/inpatient services by $50 a day I think.

Yeah the rewards aren't hard to get with either but it took us about 3 weeks to get $1000 with GEHA, with BCBS we were getting about $300 and it's much easier to track in their app.

BCBC is still a good plan I just figured we'd try something new and so far we've been pretty happy. I have 2 kids so the free Teledoc thing is probably why we may stay with GEHA next year.
