What exactly do you think a future looks like where due to tech innovations we are already seeing, the amount of "jobs" as we see them today (as in things that produce tangible value for a consumer that can be bought or sold, be it a good or service) aren't being done by people anymore?

I mean if the point of innovation is to free people up to do other things, and also has a side effect of increasing a company's bottom line due to not paying wages and benefits, how is it you avoid a society where you have a fuck ton of unemployed poor people who don't produce anything of value, at least economically, trying to still have what they need to thrive as people? How do these people advance themselves out of poverty when there are no bootstraps to pull oneself up by?

And most importantly, how do you give these people any kind of freedom, economic or otherwise, much less ability to have influence on the powers that be when we've decided money equals speech and the ultimate end goal (ie "winning" in a pure capitalist sense) means making money and acquiring stuff?

And moreover, what makes you think you or your progeny won't end up being one of these poor people? Is it just a race to the bottom for those of us who don't have vast amounts of wealth?
