ZME vs ZAB

Seeking opinions and advice regarding the choice between Memphis Center and Albuquerque Center for an academy graduate. Thanks!

Although Memphis is a 12 and Albuquerque a 10. I’d go for Albuquerque. Plus I heard Memphis training is backed up about a year.

ZME. Take the 12. Down the road if you transfer out, you will be ahead. Especially if you transfer down a level or 2.

Geographically ZAB is close to very little. 6 hour drive to Denver or Phoenix..... that’s about it. Nice little zoo there though.

Just had a d-school start at ZME last week. I think they waited around 9ish months on average for the class to start. That’s a pretty normal time frame for most since I’ve been here.

Facility wise Memphis is good, most areas have good people and fun traffic to work.

Location wise Memphis gets a bad rep from a lot of people. Some of it deserved, some of it just stereotypes. I’ve lived all over the county and enjoy it here most of the time.
