Employee Express now only allowing PIV login? Not OK.

I only use employee express on my cellphone. This change is extremely inconvenient. Why wasn't there a warning about the change?

Aren't they supposed to talk to the union 1st. Changes this big without warning should NEVER happen. We can only look up our pay at work now. Thats ridiculous!!!!

If you have a computer at home you can just buy a $10 smart card reader off Amazon and use that. I have one and it’s totally been worth it not having to remember my EE login lol.

I tried this but my computer didn’t seem to want to load my certs on it. This could have been because I had my certs from my military CAC on there as well and that was causing the issue.

No one using EE from any agency knew of this apparently. NATCA got blindsided too. From what we were told it looks like a temporary thing.

I read there was a data breach or hack. Makes sense they are scared cus someone can like change your direct deposit in there. IMO there should be a read only EE from home and then the full editable EE on the network.

You should be able to clear them out and start over. Not sure where that’s stored but I know it can be done.

So I just did this cause the FAA does what they want, and yeah sometimes I click too fast on my iPhone and kill the password now and again.

But I’d be willing to bet they roll it back shortly.

However, sooner or later it will probably be a thing.

Lol we don’t have any stand alone readers at work all of them are in the keyboard and I unfortunately don’t have use for a 10 dollar keyboard with a card reader.
