Higher up FAA must have called ZBW and said you WILL take and WORK traffic in ZNY's airspace then ordered TMU to rescind it to force their hand. Anything to keep this dead patient alive...

Guy working ZBW right now tells me its not a shitshow because there isn't that much flying as it is, internationals already gone etc. ZBW hasn't assumed any airspace or felt much effect. Even Area E which borders ZNY.
I think the Agency is cracking down hard and trying at all costs not to close anything. Someone else told me some ZNY controllers just "walked out" (IE, became physically or mentally incapacitated as per the CBA!) when the agency refused to do anything, but that's unconfirmed. Wont even have it properly cleaned.
Either way. things are getting worse. Who would have ever thought you'd have to choose your health/safety or your career. #bestJobinTheWorld

Ah the party line... Must have missed the testing period...
We never had Lysol and we’re out of controller donated Clorox wipes... hand sanitizer is on its last few pumps. Good thing our D sides are still coming into work.
Just Talked to a buddy I worked with at a previous facility a little while ago who’s at ZNY now. He said they’ve all been passing this sickness back and forth with each other since February. He got sick back end of February, and he’s still coughing every other minute when I’m taking with him on the phone. he said certain areas are sicker than others. He thinks they all would pop positive if we’re given tests. Wont say anything more because of Big Brother..

A passenger reported that Slater went on the plane's public address system and used his own profanities, concluding, "I've been in this business 20 years. And that's it, I'm done." He then activated the emergency inflatable slide, exited the plane and threw his tie to the tarmac as he walked away.

UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! If the person in question hasn't been in the facility since March 17, all virus particles outside of warm bodies are already DEAD! What is sanitizing ZNY going to do if those warm bodies are not getting TESTED?!?!
