It’s a highly specialized field, it will be expensive, make sure it is worth it even if you win. If your are fighting for reinstatement you will be up against the agency and NATCA essentially.
Talk to your congressman. That's what I'm looking to do to get the ball rolling

Well went through local Congress and they were able to get and send the redacted part to me. Stated :
abused sick leave and counseling many times ( wrong, talked to once about it in 10 years)
Took a long time to certify-( yes more time then most with a TRB but then certified with no issues for 10 years)
Poor performance- (never was talked to about this ever. And no deals, came back from break on time, not even sure what to say on this)
Someone at my previous facility clearly has it out for me. How do I go about getting proof of these accusations?
Also no response yet from the fOIA appeal, don’t they have a 30 day time frame to respond?
I’ve been waiting for well over 30 days for my FOIA requests. For one of them they emailed me asking for an extension to retrieve the info.
Yes did the same to me, still waiting on them. Went to Congress and heard back within a month.
Now trying to get copies of 10 plus years of yearly performance reviews, which I signed and know for a fact nothing was in there about poor Performance. Also trying to get proof of the alleged sick leave consul …..no proof I’m sure since I only had one in over 10 years.
None of the bs stated on why I was denied makes sense. it’s just frustrating. Short staffed and they can deny good people because of a comment someone says with no proof.
