If STT never got hazard pay after their tower was destroyed and they were working under a tent then no one is getting it.

Last I heard he found nobody worthy or skillful enough so he setup a bunk in the cab to be available 24/7.

I'd need hazard pay just to work with Don...
Where Kona sits, I think they're under less of a threat from lava flows from Mauna Loa, certainly less than Hilo, which the '84 flows stopped just outside of. Hualalai blocks the flows to Kailua-Kona. The issue is more vog, gas, and ash. If anything the traffic should go up for all the tour helo companies feasting on increased tourist/news draw. After covid, they need it (see all the ITO downgrades)
