None of my airports have ODP’s so not overly familiar with them. Do any towered airports have ODP’s or is it only non-towered?

When I saw the thread I jumped in quick only to realize I read the title wrong. What's an ODP? Operational Deviation Procedure or something?

We have two. AFAIK it's basically the same as a SID, just except that because of the terrain every IFR aircraft has to follow it - no runway heading, no auto releases/departure corridor, no diverging courses, etc.

Aren’t ODP’s optional for pilots unless assigned by ATC?

We have an obstacle departure procedure at HHR (Contract Tower). It’s required because of how close we are to LAX. If they don’t turn on departure and follow the ODP it’s an IFR separation bust with LAX departures.
