Is anyone concerned by the amount of raffles going on (prizes seem to be gift cards) to encourage people to register to vote? While there are no rules forbidding this in the constitution it strikes me as extremely shady and very concerning to say the least.
It is one thing to encourage your colleagues to register, vote or even not vote. It is another though, at least in my mind, for a bunch of facilities to coincidentally to do this in a what appeares to be a coordinated and combined effort to do so.
Does anyone have an inkling on where the money for this might be coming from?
