What method do you use at your tower to keep track of traffic and why do you like it?

Has anyone had experience using more than one method?

I've used a pad, strip bay, and chip board and I personally prefer a pad just because it's easier for me to keep in my hand if I have to walk around the tower. To me chip boards and other items that keep you in one spot don't promote looking out of a window as much as a pad. My current facility only uses a strip bay but I wish the SOP was written to allow for both a pad and a strip bay.

bonus question: how many runways at your facility? converging, crossing, parallels, single?

Ive worked the board at prior facilities, until I got to a facility that used a strip bay. Now I've got to say I'm a fan of that. Only downside is VFR popups that call up broken and unreadable, or speak faster than you can write. Without a radar, it can be a pain.
