“Vaccinated People May Spread the Virus, Though Rarely” are literally the first words of the NY Times article’s title. It also contains this quote:

I don’t even know why I bother so hard sometimes with people who just refuse to read.

I literally said I read every link but the NYT because paywall, so I guess I should ask the same thing

I want the same thing I’ve always wanted: the abolishment of vaccine mandates, which have life-changing effects on people’s lives, that are based on sCiEnCe that changes every few months to not say what it said before. People should get vaccinated, but to destroy their lives if they don’t want to, over a virus this deadly, is wrong.

Oh good lord. I’m drowning in straw. Next you’ll say that I claimed that the pandemic is all fake, and Trump won, and that my links don’t show evidence for those either.
A vaccine mandate is only life changing if you let it be.

Anyone excited about Eternals? I made the mistake of looking at a couple of reviews and they didn't have the highest praise of it, but it still looks worth the watch.

The title of the article isn’t under a paywall.

Beyond that, would you claim that “none of them” said what I said, then? I wouldn’t think you would knowingly claim something that you can’t prove. By making that claim after you said you didn’t read that article, I had no choice but to think you did read the article after that first post. You claimed Schrödinger’s cat was dead without even looking inside.

You should have said “Comply or else,” it would have saved you less typing.

I got big time marvel movie fatigue like 5 years ago haven't seen one start to finish in a long time. At this point I'm just gonna wait for my kid to get a little older and enjoy them with him.

So you admit yours 6X less likely to get Covid but you don’t see why there’s a vaccine mandate?

Titles don’t mean anything without context.

Found the article elsewhere, and yes, I still say that because the title of the NYT article doesn’t accurately state what was said in the article. What the CDC actually said:

“High viral loads suggest an increased risk of transmission and raised concern that, unlike with other variants, vaccinated people infected with delta can transmit the virus,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, said on Friday.

The viral load data indicate that even fully immunized people can spread the virus as easily as unvaccinated people who become infected. “We believe at individual level they might, which is why we updated our recommendation,” Walensky said in an email to The New York Times earlier this week.”

“The delta variant is about as contagious as chickenpox, the document noted, and universal masking may become necessary. Still, breakthrough infections overall are infrequent, according to the agency.”

It’s almost like the contagiousness of a vaccinated person changed with delta, and although a vaccinated person is still contagious a vaccinated person getting it is still rare overall. This is why headlines don’t mean shit, because it’s some editors 1 line synopsis designed to get attention

It’s good to get it out here instead of in real life
Is it really though? I mean surely you all have better things to do than repeat the same talking points ad nauseum. Obviously your opinion isn't valued by the person you are conversing with, and vice versa. I dunno about you but I find that kind of conversation mostly worthless and unproductive, and therefore not worth having.

It's like yall like being pissed off and internet shouting into the ether past one another. The whole thing is kind of masturbatory if you ask me.

Idk I guess it just doesn’t bother me. I’ve been arguing on Internet forums for 20 years. I’ll talk about whatever tho. It deffo doesn’t ruin my day and make me mad tho.

I mean it’s better than complaining on the internet about people arguing on the internet ?‍♂️

You don’t even have to do anything except go get a vaccine on the clock

Until we have to get a booster yearly.

Titles don’t mean anything without context.

That’s true, but it and the article still says what I said regardless, something you were wrong on.

You’re cherry-picking the article and ignoring it downplaying vaccinated people spreading it, which was in the quote I put earlier, and which is my entire point.

You can say you’re wrong on this anytime now and we’ll be good. You’re already guilty of a straw man and of lying about what the article contains, so you’re just digging the already-deep hole deeper at this point.

Your downplaying the fact that if you are 6X less likely to get it you are 6X less likely to spread it
