Ok Einstein.....How do you propose getting the guns back? Should they start with asking the criminals to turn theirs in first? Its like the Climate change.......If you believe its real then why are you wanting to reduce emissions while allowing China, Russia India etc to continue to pollute? Does your wife have to explain to you why you need to look both ways before crossing the street? Because with your intelligence I am amazed that you can find your way to work everyday!

When is the climate going to change? Or shall I say when does the climate "Not Change" It changes everyday, some days it rains, some days its hot, some days it isn't as hot. It is constantly changing. But as I illustrated earlier in the thread they have been claiming the end of the world for years.......another Ice Age, But this time the will be correct right? Because you can't argue with "Science". So tell me how it ends with the US pissing away their economy to prevent climate change when any one of these countries (Russia, China India etc) will cancel out any minuscule non measurable changes we make to the world. How does it end? Let me help you out.....it doesn't end because there is no climate change problem. The earth goes thru these cycles all the time.

How about we do something about the systemic mental health issues and give these young dude who are your typical mass shooter something to look forward to in life instead of deferring to the inanimate object as the problem?

Well if that's the case and the po po is there to protect property and act as an enforcement arm for the state and not necessarily for citizen safety, and the average police response time is longer than the time it takes for a violent crime to take place I'll keep my guns thank you very much.

End of the day my safety is my responsibility, and unless I want a cop posted up on every street corner and every aspect of life constantly monitored "for my own safety".....Guns it is.

I mean the 4 Texas mass shootings I can think of in current history 1 was on a military base so no one can carry outside of on duty mps, one was stopped by a robot with an explosive device attached to it (yay militarized police?) And one was stopped by some hillbilly across the street with an AR, another by some old dude in the pews with a ccw handgun just going absolute John Wick HAM on the guy. So 2/4 stopped by dudes with guns, one definitely could have been stopped by any one of the trained professionals who got shot had they been able to carry, and one was solved by republican Wall-E.

Which is all besides the point because you are far far far more likely to die from any number of boring everyday activities like driving to work than a mass shooting. It's all sensationalism. Yes, violent crime exists, but mass shootings make up a miniscule amount of it.
