Sounds like you should be getting the jab if you have comorbidities to protect yourself, because it's become a personal choice that has little to do with transmission. We shouldn't endure a shutdown/restrictions every time a new variant emerges until big pharma comes out with the newest flavor of jab to keep you out of the hospital. "15 days to stop the spread" was how we started, because we thought we could stop the spread. It's plain as day that we can't do that. Straw must be on sale again. Restrictions mandating cloth masks are stupid and should be removed, because they don't work. If mask restrictions of different material are proposed, okay, but it's going to be hilarious watching the spin of how we were told for almost two years now that the sCiEnCe showed that cloth masks are effective, when they now suddenly are not.

I really, really hope the landslide elections due to come this fall will cause Congress to start holding people accountable for lies.

You see that is how the system is supposed to work, they people select errrrr elect the legislative body and they legislate laws, then the Governor comes into the picture and signs the bills into laws. But they skipped that part! So you have no idea what the people support!

To be fair, most of our government hasn't been operating on what people support for decades.

But they have somehow succeeded in convincing everyone that a Democrat or Republican is the best choice to represent them.

I'd like to remind people that the "you are in control of your life" group is the conservatives. It's something that made my life great. I didn't like that I was making low wages, so I did something about it.

So whenever you don't like something, you have the power to change it. A few years back we were reminded of this during the government shutdown when we were fighting to get our pay- and people replied that if we didn't like it, we could find new jobs.

There are states and there are jobs where masks and vaccine cards aren't required. Happy trails.

Even the holy grail of blue states, CA isn’t locked down. Some business’s require a mask, no one (at least in my county of almost 3.5 million) requires proof of vaccination.
