Running people over because their presence is inconvenient to you is wrong. You won't hear me saying that's justified for "driver safety" or economic reasons, nor will you hear me say blocking roads is suddenly not a valid and reasonable way to protest.

protesting is all good with me as long as its legal. so that would not include "mostly peaceful" protests.

i think blocking a highway is dumb because of the safety implications....not because i disagree with what is being protested against.

To be fair..... As far as on this side of the border I'm seeing a lot more positive reaction from the right on this horn honking fiasco than I am negative from "leftists" (again, conflating US politics liberals with leftism is laughable, but I digress) here in the states.

I'm not plugged into maple syrup twitter and I don't frequent tim Hortons for my morning coffee so I dont know enough to compare reaction where it's actually happening between then and now where it matters.

Frankly I find the whole thing amusing, and judging by what I have seen it is very hypocritical for either side to suddenly change their stance on road-based protest, much less protest in general.

Lol unless you have some posts of mine that make me one of “you guys,” you need to go and get a refund for that straw. Being forced to take a vaccine to be part of a society, or even keep a job, is definitely an infringement of a right, as many courts and countries are now finding.
