But 2020 election was the safest?
I think people try to find the truth and see it from another point of view rather than state ran media propaganda. Like the Kyle Rittenhouse case, media portrayed him as a white supremacists (part hispanic) and people bought it. If it wasn’t for independent reporters he would be rotting in jail.
You can’t prove one single person was convicted for insurrection but since Reddit calls it an “insurrection” then it must be true - double speak. Add on the feds involved in January 6th (plenty of proof and the FBI denying to answer the questions if they had agents). There’s video proof - it was all theater to bring the boot down.
Ooooh but Trump said this. Please.
I can never quite tell if you’re actually interested in having conversations or just throwing out “gotchas” like I should just shrug my shoulders and say I lost.
I don’t know where “2020 being safest?” thing came from, but I don’t consider foreign meddling in either 2016 or 2020 a factor in the results or integrity of the voting itself. It’s the scheming and influence/propaganda that they, and other countries, push during our elections. If the 2020 election was so compromised, why is it that Republicans won House seats and in other areas of the ballot, but Trump lost? Maybe because he’s just a loser and enough people realized it, but still support the party as a whole. There’s enough evidence that there wasn’t widespread voter fraud and multiple Republican state governments have concluded that fact, along with zero of the lawsuits or audits finding much to support it. Just because someone can pull out a YouTube video or random website with evidence doesn’t change that.
If you’re always searching for whatever view aligns with your personal beliefs or opinions, then of course you’re going to find evidence that supports it. Even if it’s outlandish or goes against obvious fact.
Once again, not really sure where you are pulling the “insurrection” point other than to think you one-upped what I said or prove me wrong when it wasn’t what my statement was about. The GOP position on Jan 6 is so far from what the reality was (“peaceful protest”, not a big deal). There’s proof it was coordinated and that people in Trump’s White House or his circle had knowledge of other bad actors being involved. Coordination occurred between the WH and Congresspeople during and before. Why are all these Trump people participating in the Jan 6 panel and turning over records as they work their way up the chain if it was no biggie? Why is Mitch flipping to call it an insurrection as the cards keep falling? And there’s four hours of documented video of people forcing their way into the Capitol violently, including Proud Boys and Oathkeepers, and yet the GOP position is that it wasn’t a big deal and was just a bunch of good ol’ patriots. Get real.
You say “plenty of proof” and choose to ignore the mountain of evidence against your points as well. My original point is that the GOP is so totally off base with everything from COVID, Jan 6, and Trump, that I can’t stomach supporting the party any longer. I don’t plan to again - even if I still have conservative beliefs and positions, but I’m not gonna support a party that actively lies or ignores so much in such blatant ways.
