If you are selected from a list, what's the timeframe before your facility finds out?

I was under the impression your facility finds out when you tell them after HR calls to see if you’re still interested. I could be wrong though.

I assume there is no discussion between ATMs since it’s a priority bid and no need to discuss release dates.

Got the Eastern HR call with an offer to PHL today for 2nd round list (she said) of which I accepted the offer.

Went over pay, moving expenses and a brief rundown of what to expect next.

They asked the ATM contact name at my current facility. I can only assume this will be for the TOL to process further security screening as usual.

Got my TOL today. I'm from a lvl 5 (used to be a much busier lvl 6 back in my day). Should be able to breeze through training.

So level facilities don’t matter. Got it. Just randomized pickings. Just curious, when did you apply? I applied back in June/July when it opened and yep. Nothing here. Lol.

It appears the second PHL referral list has been closed out. Did anyone get picked up from that list, or did management let this one pass because the EWR move is being pushed back?

Looking back in the thread the first referral list was closed out, a second list was issued mid-May and then some selections were made sometime in June. Rumor has it that they are looking to pick up about 7 on the next 'round' (whenever that is), so I would assume another referral list will be posted with more selections to follow. They still need controllers, you just can't slam that many trainees into a facility all at one time without an insane backlog.

I doubt the plan has changed, but when I spoke to the facrep at the beginning on the year, he said they have no intention of picking up from NCEPT and only pick up controllers via the bid.

Yes, but that only means applications can no longer be submitted for the bid. The facility can still hire from the pool of applicants who applied before it closed.

For those curious, I emailed HR asking if there would be another referral list.

She said: “Yes. I am working on reviewing applications for the last list.”

They took someone from my level 7 but he knows the atm and has family in management
