The government will shutdown again at the end of January.
I doubt many controllers are eligible for 10k now-if this was a truthful act of sentiment it would have some limits, maybe 3 days? Or OT subs missed days.
This is simply a carrot dangle for the next shutdown.

I guess you have to be fit for duty.
Well if they're driving for doordash they have to take leave.
You should take leave and put your family first.

They know leave is going to get refunded and maybe 8 sick leave letters go out in the nas. This is only a weapon at the end of January
