ok now time to go all in.
And please get a new broker. seeing people use robinhood makes me sad
So I cashed out my TSP and put it all on SPY 9/2 350c. Am I about to be stupid rich or rent out orifices under a bridge?
Real talk though CHWY 9/11 calls have been paying off. Earnings is AH 9/10 I believe.
Not to mention option premium is stupid expensive for earnings due to elevated implied volatility. It's typically very hard to make money playing earnings with options.Honestly you would probably make bank, though the risk is stupid high on that lol
Chewy has been performing like a boss! Kind of like the housing market crash, people invested heavily into their pets once they realized how much time they spend with them. Be careful with earning calls that close to a contract closure date though, a positive EPS doesn't necessarily correlate to a rise in price.
Exactly, big risk for small fish like me.Not to mention option premium is stupid expensive for earnings due to elevated implied volatility. It's typically very hard to make money playing earnings with options.
Any loss porn as of late?
r/wallstreetbets is the only correct answer to your options trading resource question. As someone looking at getting into options/investing in general, what would be some top resources you guys would recommend binging so I don’t completely waste some fun money?

MJ....If he doesn’t get that from the first post he clicks on in that sub, he deserves to lose it all!
If you have Twitter I recommend two people for options: @AnthonyOhayon and @saxena_puru. Another tip I have for you is this: good traders are successful between 40-60% of the time. Be wary of Anybody who only posts successes, and never speaks about their failures. As someone looking at getting into options/investing in general, what would be some top resources you guys would recommend binging so I don’t completely waste some fun money?
