En Route 12/27/18

I’m in this class. Booked at IB
Yeah I'm at IB also they got me a great room with a washer drawer and great breakfast and dinner they always get to class I'm from Atlanta so it does makes it a lot easier and less stressful since I'm in a new place all alone. They treat me great

It was the full 57 for me, also how/when is everyone traveling there?
I'll be arriving on the 26th I am pretty sure. I am driving from Texas myself.

Price per day if you don't mind me asking?

I went ahead and just booked my room at Isola Bella for everything that's offered. Plus, the $45 a night rate is a good deal. Looking forward to meeting everyone at training!! :)

First timers to the Academy get screwed. I have been an Instructor at the Academy for 5 years. The places most people mention to stay charge top dollar, all of a students per diem, to stay.....there are other options. Local rents for 1 bedroom average 800 per month....2 bedroom about 950......but if you look around....you can save a buck......Grenada Village, about 6 minutes from the MMAC gate.....has 2 bedroom modular homes they rent for around 900 per month....
Could you provide a reference to the housing qualifications? I'm willing to do the research just hoping for guidance to the publication. I'm hoping I can rent a plot for my camper and qualify for the lodging. Any knowledge related is appreciated

If you are looking for a place to park an RV/Camper.....Grenada Village on Macarthur has spots.....water and electric is included in the $450 a month rental fee...….no laundry facilities....but Lauras laundromat fills the bill.......

We’re at the academy and it’s likely we’re gonna get sent home so you guys might be some of the first ones back at the academy

There's a 1/3/19 Enroute class scheduled as well. If the shutdown ends right away then MAYBE they keep that class and those guys just jump ahead of the rescheduled 12/27 class, but who knows. But it seems pretty likely that everyone with a date after 1/10/19 will be pushed back at least two weeks.

Yeah, I don’t know if they’ll delay you guys and bring us back or if they’ll keep you guys on schedule. I have no idea

I was also rescheduled to 1/10.

It’s a great thing they cancelled it cause the government shut down is still on going.

Hopefully they'll get their act together and pass a budget before this class has to be pushed back too. Wonder when they'd make the call to cancel the 1/3/19 class as well, since people will likely start driving out there this weekend.
