As a respected leader in the charge of getting out of shithole NATCA two years ago, I need your opinion.

Nick Daniels has been calling himself “Kobayashi Maru“ to the NEB, and declaring himself a hero for making the best choice in an impossible situation and sacrificing a bit of himself for the good of the membership. He says his sacrifice should never be forgotten.

Do you agree with his analogy?

AUS controller here, we’ve been complaining about TCIP for a while. A little old data here from 2023 ops for level 9-11 up/downs end of year totals. There’s a huge difference in ops from a slow level 9 to busy level 9. Also a difference in ops between level 9/10. We need TCIP changes and this should be a NATCA priority.

I don't think that data is presented like that from the FAA. I think it was compiled by some of those controllers from just regular traffic count numbers

Miami has most ops per cpc than any other center, and Jax only trails ny and la bit beats the rest of the 12's. They getting fked over

The solution is simple with ops per CPC. Miami is a 12, NY becomes an 11. Everyone else is behind Salt Lake so they become a 10

I’d love to see ZSU’s numbers. I should probably see if someone at work knows. Yesterday we did 3500 operations. Which is still small potatoes compared to the other Z’s but we only have 4 enroute sectors and 3 approach sectors. Scope wise, we are smaller than most areas, I think. Our enroute sectors are huge though. And all SFC-UNL, minus our SFC-10k approach.
