Can you transfer to atc from a flight data position does anyone know??? Just wondering if there is an internal process or not possible?

Prolly not. Most flight data guys are washouts and I haven’t seen any get back into controlling.

FDCS is 2154 so there is no ERR process. It’s a whole new job so you have to resign from 1 to do the other.

They have bids both public and internal from time to time.

No. But I’ve seen some transfer to flight service and flight service technically can even tho NATCA refuses to negotiate it under NCEPT.

It’s easier to refuse to negotiate than to work on equal transfers for ALL 2152’s.
