Facility Dress Code

People wear sweatpants, track pants, joggers, leggings, yoga pants, flip flops, distressed jeans etc. There’s really no dress code, although you might get something said to you if it has swear words or anything else considered “offensive” this day and age god only knows that could be anything. At the Academy I would probably err on the side of dressing a little nicer like jeans and a polo, jeans and a T-shirt probably fine. But not the supercasual or ripped stuff.

At the academy before getting to your first facility you aren't in the union so normal FAA dress code applies. I wore a polo and jeans everyday and it was fine.

During training at my facility I wore jeans and a t-shirt or polo.

Today I'm wearing flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt.

you're allowed to wear anything except Ed Hardy shirts. It is a universally accepted fact that they erode public confidence.
