At least some word appears to be getting out to the public.
Ironically DCA has something like 25 of 28 controllers
Everyone is already talking about us and sully and everyone else just said we are best in the world.Media digs enough they'll find out some other things NATCA doesn't need the general public knowing about ATC or DCA specifically. You guys seem to think we win the media fight. I think we get slaughtered.
No they aren’t even advertising it. I think it might be fake. The hosts are saying we are overworked.Has he spoke yet?
Those aren't the new CRWG numbers thoughIronically DCA has something like 25 of 28 controllers
I say differently and speed regularly.Anyone that says differently, I'm assuming, are the same type people that say they have never once in their entire life exceeded a posted speed limit while driving (i.e. they are full of crap).
"Audio issues" there I fixed it.Audio issues so ND was cut short. Hopefully he's back after commercial break.
Is this like the joke ATC Maintenance/tech ops folks like to make about ATC calling about some equipment issue & then they just come and flip some switch while rolling their eyes?He went on and then he didn’t know how to use his headset and then they moved on
The CRWG number is 30. 25 CPCs on the books. One is medically DQd, one on long term hold. So 23 out of 30.Those aren't the new CRWG numbers though
I think this is implying that normally local control is split from the helicopter control position.... not how many controllers were on shift.View attachment 9987

Exactly how I interpreted it.I think this is implying that normally local control is split from the helicopter control position.... not how many controllers were on shift.
