Only a true regard would think I lose. You get stuck with a shit contract for another 8 years if NDJH won. You’re one of those smart voters who will cut off their nose to spite their face.

We know who they are and they do suck. Unfortunately I don’t think I can vote for ND. Seriously bad campaign plan and shows bad judgment of character that he ran with / is so close with JH imo. It’s too bad he wasn’t running for VP. ND and Santa would have been the way since JD and Redmond are out.

Mick and NDJH made countless pointless videos that included a whole lot of bashing each other and very little plans/vision to move forward. Santa created very scripted town hall videos. I can’t believe anything any of them have said.
Will he actually see this run off as a wake up call? That’s what I want to truly gauge before voting again. But I hope you’re right that he sees what needs to change.
Remember when NDJH got asked the layup question of what they want to do first and they said more member spotlights and take down a wall.
All they had to say was more pay and more pay.

Hmmm…I voted for Justin Dailey because he had a honest approach and seemed like “one of us” and not a guy who has spent their entire career outside of the control room on details. I’m reading comments about voting for Rich Santa but what has he done in his term to warrant another? My facility is chronically understaffed like most, I work 6 day work weeks and there is no end in sight. Why should we allow someone who hasn’t improved conditions for us knowing that we are in crappy situations keep their job? I don’t know if Nick Daniels is a massive improvement but it’s really hard to vote for someone who has overseen this crap show thats currently happening. NATCA needs new leadership from the top down.

The new fatigue MOU actually does directly impact those on forced 6 day work weeks. It isn’t much, but it’s better than nothing.
Overall though I agree with you. The others running have held positions that should have had an obvious impact the last few years and they don’t have anything going for them either. This run off is a lose-lose scenario.
The new fatigue rules say you can only work 6 day work weeks 2/3 weeks. Sure it’s small but it’s something and it’s better than the initially imposed work rules.
It was a non contract term, not much could be done. He’s also said he will open the contract and NDJH are extending the contract. An extension is certainly more of the same a new negotiation would be a change

I would absolutely love to see NEW faces get involved in the union. I get involved in the local but even at this level there is a little bit of a friends club and people who are the heir apparent waiting to ascend. We need to get fresh perspectives and fresh voices leading the union because it seems to be turning into an oligarchy and it’s the same folks who are out of touch with the actual workforce. Not saying Nick, Jamal, or Mick aren’t part of the same oligarchy ascension program but Rich had his time and things aren’t better. If you didn’t improve things during your term and things have gotten worse, why should you get another? Move out of the way and let someone else take a shot.
Vote for the guy who has done nothing with the shitty NTI for years now and the guy who made a motion to extend the contract and together they still haven’t said they’re for negotiating a new contract.
Vote for the guys who want to keep everything the same or vote for the guys who at least said we’d be getting something new.
NDJH literally say every buzz word Rinaldi said before them. Theyre a Walmart Paul and Trish.

Santa has also said he wouldn’t depending on who is elected POTUS. I get his mind can change, but why doesn’t it only matter since his position was on the line?
After regions put out votes and overwhelmingly it came back people wanted to negotiate he said I hear you and I’m with you.
We shouldn’t have a leader who closes his eyes and ears to the membership and is so set in their ways they refuse to change.
NDJH saw the same polls and said nah screw them we know better.
I’ll take the guys who at least say they’ll negotiate because if they don’t where cooked.
