Jamaal didnt even bother to congratulate Mick, like some salty little punk. So doubtful. Are Nick and Jamaal going to put out a joint post election video?
Mick probably didn’t want to get assaulted today.Jamaal didnt even bother to congratulate Mick, like some salty little punk. So doubtful.
Question. Why has the agency clamped down? When did that begin? My personal opinion, this will speed up the demise of NATCA. Logically I do not think much will be accomplished, people will be disappointed with how contract negotiations will play out, but above all we will watch the degradation of the profession as the agency clamps down harder.
Neither candidate in this election will change this outcome (Rich or Mick) as there are deeper issues at stake than a position or title.
Idealistically I hope that Nick and Mick can work together but if the past is any indicator, it is doubtful.
People leaving ATC will continue to increase year over year and other jobs in the agency will happily welcome them with open arms.
Oh I agree, 30% is wildly unrealistic, hell even 5% is imho (given the current climate).Question. Why has the agency clamped down? When did that begin?
Of course people will be disappointed in the negotiations. Idiots think we are going to get magiced a 50% raise over night.
Aye, but both candidates were establishment and it was a choice of which was the lesser evil. JD is on here, he can speak to that much better than I can.Everyone remember that time JD endorsed the incumbent?
Yea he dislikes mick yet mick got elected. And he endorsed Rich. Doesn’t seem like the 20% listened to him, from the outcome at leastAye, but both candidates were establishment and it was a choice of which was the lesser evil. JD is on here, he can speak to that much better than I can.
Turnout did improve though, at least that is something. Again though JD can speak more to it than I can.Yea he dislikes mick yet mick got elected. And he endorsed Rich. Doesn’t seem like the 20% listened to him, from the outcome at least
It’s kind of strange that it improved but didn’t change the outcome.Turnout did improve though, at least that is something. Again though JD can speak more to it than I can.
What was the count/total? I didn’t see it in the emailTurnout did improve though, at least that is something. Again though JD can speak more to it than I can.
What happened between them?My personal opinion, this will speed up the demise of NATCA. Logically I do not think much will be accomplished, people will be disappointed with how contract negotiations will play out, but above all we will watch the degradation of the profession as the agency clamps down harder.

You mean to tell me the candidates that ran just to force the runoff ended up having no bearing on the final election result? I’m shocked.Yea he dislikes mick yet mick got elected. And he endorsed Rich. Doesn’t seem like the 20% listened to him, from the outcome at least
I don't think they ran just to force a run off....You mean to tell me the candidates that ran just to force the runoff ended up having no bearing on the final election result? I’m shocked.
The 3rd presidential candidate put out 1 video, visited ~10 facilities (full disclosure, I might have the number wrong but it wasn't many), and campaign primarily via internet forums and his website filled with AI memes. If you asked me to create a more generic "3rd-party" candidate that didn't really care about winning an election, I honestly don't think I could do better.I don't think they ran just to force a run off....
But I could see if one thinks there should be only their candidate and the incumbent and no one trying to change the shitty status quo that they would think that
