NATCA Election Results

Brothers and Sisters,

I am truly honored and inspired by the opportunity to serve once again as President of NATCA. You all have spoken and your voices have been heard. This victory is not only a personal achievement for me and my industry leading relationships and connections, but also an achievement for Rinaldi Consultants as well. Getting back full time on the NATCA dole will benefit me personally and financially as well. I currently have a 120 foot yacht, but a man of diminutive stature and position deserves at least something in the 150 foot class. I will make sure to staff the article 114 positions with my most loyal supporters. Rest assured, new positions will be created to make sure my most valued supporters are able to accrue good time towards their retirement, without having to work traffic. Their personal dedication to me over everything else certainly warrants that, and more. Their absence from the facilities will exacerbate the staffing shortages we face but it will also pay dividends to the rest of the membership by creating opportunities for you to work overtime in their stead.

I am excited to come back into this role with renewed energy, ready to empower my team, inspire positive change, and continue driving our mission forward with passion, censorship, and bullying. Together, we will build on my past successes of collaboration and contract extensions thereby ensuring the future contract extensions will create even greater opportunities for keeping you at your facility because stable staffing, where you spend your whole career at once place, is almost as good as stable funding and going forward I will make sure that we double, or even triple down on collaboration with management in the future. We can’t have the agency unhappy with me, they control all the levers! There’s nothing we can do about it. We need to be thankful to me for the best job in the world.

In Solidarity,

Not Paul Rinaldi

This would funny if not so retarded. The guy who unilaterally hired Paul gets voted out, and this is the troll post you make.

It’s kind of strange that it improved but didn’t change the outcome.

I’m not asking Jd to clarify anything. The results are the results
I don’t need to clarify the fact you are a douche.

I’m less than 3 years left, sitting at the cap of a high locality 11, where I want to be and financially able to retire.

How much do you think any of this hurts me? I’m more worried about everyone who has 8 or more years to go. To them I hope for the best.

Except for you Nothanks i hope you step on a Lego

Well that’s a nice flex. Most of us are stuck in the NCEPT purgatory. Thanks for rubbing it in
Sorry.

I transferred once before NCEPT and once after. I would have even gone back to the center nearby, but we’ve been a black hole for 8 years here too.

I hope that the winners of the election can move forward with some positive changes to NCEPT

But if it makes you feel better, staffing will definitely not improve for me at my facility in what’s left of my career. So I guess I’ll work some overtime and buy myself something nice….

I'm not saying NATCA will be in a better place (ever again). But I hope Santa (finally) hears the message loud and clear because he's been deaf for far too long. Sometimes you actually HAVE to do your job and most importantly LISTEN to your BUEs.

Maybe there's a somewhat half-full mall somewhere who needs our ex-Santa for a Xmas detail.

I mean in some senses yes... but TBH it really isn't Santa who needs to hear the message now... who cares if he's wallowing in regrets or not?

Nick, on the other hand... well, I hope the message is self evident to him.

Question. Why has the agency clamped down? When did that begin?

Of course people will be disappointed in the negotiations. Idiots think we are going to get magiced a 50% raise over night.
At some point people making 200k to do admin because of their 5th dui.

Thank you JD for costing rich the election and thank you Lenny for contributing as well.View attachment 9796
Um, thanks?

Maybe next time I can cost someone else the election and cause a runoff! I mean, it’s only 26 months till nominations start, and historically now less than 23 months till campaign emails start!

Of course; it’s also the start of the DOL investigations now too…. 😜

Maybe we should go back to OG US Constitution rules. Candidates only run for 1 position. Second place becomes EVP. It will be like making my kids like each other.

What was the count/total? I didn’t see it in the email

There was no sweeping victory and shows what a crossroads our Union stands at, the threshold only exists because of the 20 percent and the about 700 people that voted this time that did not earlier in the year. Hopefully, the leadership gets the message that what has been being done is not the direction and they start representing all of our members, working conditions, and pay moving forward. It can no longer be a "club" and has to get back to its roots of being a labor organization.

I know almost nothing about Nick Daniels but the yacht thing was a terrible look. He also helped create the NTI which I cannot stand. Management overworks trainers now despite it being "not mandatory" (it is).

Here is to hoping we don't get royally fucked in the next contract.
To be clear, status quo counts as "royally fucked".

The yacht thing narrative was just a bullshit campaigning scam by mick and rich. It was a convention solidarity dinner the same as all the rest. It was huge cuz it was 3 large regions combined. I can’t believe how many people followed the internet mob cuz why? Cuz it wasn’t on dry land? The convention was in FLL. With coastline and canals. People party on boats there. The backlash was like old people zombies watching Fox news.
