NATCA Election Results

You guys are hilarious for argue about a make believe hardship request. Until the documentation and the denial is provided and shown, who knows what the truth is.
For real, what is your hard on about? You are the most anti worker pro union member I’ve ever encountered. What do you believe should happen with employee movement?

Everyone should move.

You guys don’t like facts that’s all

They were discussing a hardship and things about it. Without any data or facts. If you want to talk about it, let’s talk about it. Throw up the supporting docs and then the denial.

Yes if they meet all the requirements for a valid hardship that are laid out in the contract.

I also don't care about other agencies or jobs because we have stuff spelled out specifically in our contract for us.

And I thought they would give you the option for facilities under 100% staffed within a certain distance of the location you are trying to go and if there was only one lvl12 in the range then it didn't matter on the staffing. But I'm not sure on how all of it works

Making a hardship to a over staffed 12 when an understaffed 7 or 8 is right next door should probably not be allowed but idk
Pretty sure the contract doesn’t allow you to go to an over staffed facility.

Look, the union did it again. Going from discussing the election to getting members to argue about hardships. The union isn't good at much but has turning members against members down to an art. No wonder they created the NCEPT.

First off the union shouldn’t have any business in transferring. It first started off this if how you file paperwork for a transfer to the NCEPT garbage.
Second the FAA has some secret ability to deny people transfers consistently….think about it what other agency is creating staffing numbers and denying people career progression and movement?
Their new way of placing new hires and overstaffing training facilities is a clear move at denying certain facilities career progression or a simple lateral transfer. Something is wrong with the FAA and it needs to be exposed on a national level.

ERRing leaves all the eggs in the FAA basket. That's on controllers themselves. I do think the national release policy is a lawsuit waiting to happen though, with regard to stopping promotion to supe (which is actual career progression).

Exactly getting rid of ERR and putting openings back on USAJOBS bring back some
level of fairness and looking at actual
Experience vs some excel spreadsheet. There will
Always be rankings regardless of system in place.
I agree reference the denying of Sup selections that’s blatant denying career progression for people wanting to go that route.

It would also bring back things like move money or 2 year bids or whatever else the FAA would need to do to fill harder facilities

If it was up to the FAA, you’d never be able to leave certain hard to staff facilities.

They recently utilized hiring bids to staff NY facilities if I recall correctly. They had a USAjobs announcement that required the applicant to reside within a 50 mile radius.
