NOTAM Specialist

Anyone else get referred? Any information on it?
What I know: is that it is based in the FAA Command Centre, they are phasing out a few legacy systems to consolidate in to one modern system to push out NOTAMS to all facilities, training takes about 5 months, there seems to be a lot of room for growth, it does not count as good time, NATCA bargaining unit

Sweet mans. So there is as much diversity in this position as this last NATCA synergy panel with frivolous EEO’s to advance careers

I think it is equivalent to level eight CPC pay as well. That’s roughly 100K to start, not enough to be a big baller in DC but jobs like that typically go to connected controllers who lost their medical and want to continue to work until full pension benefits, or things like the spouse of connected controllers who don’t want to control but want to pad the family income in a high COLA area.

Likely an unknown, but if this isn’t an ATC position requiring a Class 2, will the hiring process be quicker? I saw that in the description that you’d be teleworking till facilities open back up
