I'm probably in the minority here, but I believe Rich—I think he is being honest.
Sounds like Nick and Jamaal made a video acting like they were threatened and their names weren’t even brought up in Mick email.
Nick and Jamaal are snakes in the grass and aren’t quick enough to handle being in the top seats. It’s all true it came out a long while ago that Nick loves the Slate book.

I still don’t get the lack of “appetite”. You were gonna have to actually work at something so forget about it, that’s too much to ask for? It might be tough, and might not even work out, so rather than take an L, just move on and plan the next monthly vacation spot…

If the upgrades had gone through, you drama queens would just be arguing that the five facilities that got the upgrades were rich's buddies and rich was buying votes and the facilities that didn't get there upgrades were getting screwed, blah blah blah.

There are only 13 Z’s in the country that are currently even eligible for upgrades. If the union had managed to secure massive raises for almost 50% of all eligible facility types, I’m pretty confident all of leadership would have received praise. Going from a 10 to an 11 or an 11 to a 12 is well into the six figures over the course of a career. That’s a major life change for some people. The problem is, the NEB refused to even consider it. There was no “appetite.”
Or the whole thing was a bullshit lie to get the hostile half of the NEB voted out.
Nick and the NEB who opposed this literally could have got themselves on the team and shared in the W, Rich would have gotten a lot of the praise but they could have used it as fuel for their campaign about how great they are at being on the team and negotiating the raise. Instead they said screw that we’re not letting Rich even have a chance at this win well discuss it to death, like Nick and Jamaal’s videos, use words and words and actually do nothing.
This campaign and its supporters in the NEB weaponized a raise for over 1000 brothers and sisters when there were other options to share in the win. Self serving nick could not stand to let anyone else have the spotlight shine on them.
I think the DOL needs to look into removing Nick and and anyone else who conspire against us for their personal gain.

If which part was a lie? Every party involves seems to acknowledge this happened. The only difference seems to be some are portraying it like there was already a deal in place between the agency and NATCA, and others says it was a proposal to sit a workgroup.
And everyone has failed to mention why they wouldn’t go through with the trivial task of seating a workgroup the FAA invited the union to…

What does this say about Santa moving forward though? He doesn’t have the sway of political leadership to not steer the NEB towards even putting this to a vote?
The RVP elections need to get more attention because they hold all the power
I think the best comparison the Nick NEB people is the “Freedom Caucus”. They want their guy in there and even though there’s only a few of them they are so self driven that you can not sway them no matter who was in there. I think the US government is too far gone to change anything but anyone who wants to fuck around for their own good in our union should find out what it’s like to be back on the boards. Send the Nick 6 packing and get some people in there who want to lead not to move up.
Ya’ll pouring on the gassss. I can’t wait to hear about Rich’s bullshit plea for solidarity at the next NEB meeting after this disgusting display of self sabotage from our very own president. The ugly is here to stay. We’re doomed.
They all acknowledged they discussed a work group. One side waited a year until election season to broadcast ‘im the savior but your own neb screwed you guys’ and the other said ‘wtf are you talking about you brought it up one time one year ago and never created any work group and never proposed a vote on anything’
Actually he said when it was brought up there was no appetite for it from the NEB. Nick has weaponized the NEB Rich’s entire term to give himself a better shot at winning. Half the shit nick has done hasn’t been brought up, he is a terror and destructive to this union and it will be better off when he’s gone and the NEB can do work again.

Correct. That’s what rich said. He said the NEB had no appetite for getting 5 Zs FPL adjustments. That’s a generic blame game. If he’s not completely full of shit then the NEB is guilty. If he’s completely full of shit and he dropped the issue because he didn’t actually have any avenue to get it done then he’s just a failed president trying to save his own skin.
