stupid but I chuckled. See Tuco_Benidito its possible to be a Rittenhouse dickrider and make funny content
Honestly as a fan of humor that's in poor taste there's a ton of righty type memes I think are hilarious. I don't know what that says more about, my sense of humor or right wing ideology lmao.

99% of all online content is cringy and right wing humor is probably a little worse than average imo. And left wing humor, if that even is a thing, isn’t any better.

I’ve been watching Foundation on Apple TV+ which is pretty good I think. It’s really hard to follow but has great sci fi visuals. I’m not really sure what’s going on all the time but that’s unavoidable with a story as vast as this. Guessing it starts to come together more next season if there is one.

Also check out For All Mankind.

One of of the few times I can agree with you. His stupidity isn’t enough to ruin his life for justifiable self defense, though.
I agree. Although it does bring an interesting debate on self defense. Like if I show up with a gun and someone feels threatened and attacks me and I defend. It’s just weird. Like chicken and egg. But I don’t see how they could have convicted him with the evidence thst was presented.

I’ve been watching the YouTube channel Rekieta Law a lot throughout the trial, and it’s been great. They were doing 8 hour livestreams discussing the trial as it happened, and even had full days of streaming during deliberations. The guy who runs it is a lawyer, and he had guest lawyers on a ton explaining so much about the law and the case. The unanimous opinion was that it was clear self defense the whole time, per the letter of the law. You should definitely watch some of their highlights to hear more about the legal perspective of the case, they discuss a lot of the nuances you bring up and where the line can be drawn.

edit: Watch this starting at 5:07:50, this was on yesterday afternoon and was a good explanation of things in a nutshell about what qualifies as self defense:

Meh. I still think he's a piece of shit. Doesn't change my opinion. Think if the DA didn't try and throw the book at him and went for manslaughter charges or something we'd have a different outcome, murder was always gonna be a stretch, but I'm not a lawyer.

Can't wait for my edgy American flag Rittenhouse riot gear coffee company t shirt though.
