Hafta disagree w ya on that. First thing we ever disagreed onNo one ever cared about the truckers
Trump bragging about how great Putin is for invading Ukraine, Tucker for saying why should we dislike Putin, and the countless people who eat their rhetoric for breakfast
I love the don’t get involved but Biden is weak take. What do they want? Lol
Those people are no longer civilians, thoughtful thinkingOoh boy I missed a few pages ?
I watch a lot of historical documentaries, and historians often say that a military decision by someone like Hitler or Mussolini was “smart” or “the right thing to do” in the context of a military evaluation, that doesn’t mean they support the reasons behind the move or the move itself. It’s hilarious watching the left clutch it’s pearls and not understand that nuance.
Imagine being 32 and thinking those two can’t exist together.
Also, in todays episode of I can’t stand hypocrites:

Anyone who defends their home soil from a foreign invader is automatically military? What a take. Those people are no longer civilians, thoughtful thinking
I'm sure they are at a higher state of readiness right now.Did anyone else notice an awful lot of military aircraft flying yesterday, or am I just paranoid? View attachment 7464
I don't think anyone ever accused Mussolini of doing anything smart, and Hitler overwhelmingly shortened the war with his bad decisions is the historical take I most commonly see, and I too consume a lot of history stuff.Ooh boy I missed a few pages ?

Oh they’re defending themselves from a military and the government handed out weapons, almost like they didn’t need them before. It’s almost like they’re combatants nowAnyone who defends their home soil from a foreign invader is automatically military? What a take.

Who was smarter, Mussolini or Hitler?
Answer (1 of 7): Not at all. Mussolini was the quintessence of the Italian mindset in modern times, consisting in laying a disproportionate importance in cunning. That is enough, maybe, when you want to fool a countrie’s populace, but it’s just silly when you want to double the success trying to ...www.quora.com

The modern Left should be claiming the history channel and encyclopedia Britannia are fascist for saying Hitler/Mussolini as a person or their tactics are smart or well-executed ?
I'd say this is correct, however I will not disagree with Homsar on his armed populace points. 1 gold star to each of you.Oh they’re defending themselves from a military and the government handed out weapons, almost like they didn’t need them before. It’s almost like they’re combatants now

Quora? May as well be citing Ur_moms_nutz42069 on Reddit.
Never said they weren't intelligent, or charismatic, just that they weren't brilliant tacticians, reference every strategic level decision they ever made.
As far as blitzkrieg, Hitler is not every German general who implemented his plans of world domination, shitty credit where it's due.
This is all wildly tangential though.
Okay they’re no longer peacetime civilians, happy? Makes no difference to the point, they didn’t need guns before and now they do, that’s the differenceIt’s almost like the definitions of military and civilian combatant are different ? maybe you need to look them up before moving goalposts.
My point was that while clearly those leaders’ flawed decisions caused them to lose their respective campaigns, some of their early moves were and are complimented to this day by academia. You can ding Trump on a great many things, but I had to roll my eyes at CNN’s chyron making it seem like Trump was completely on his side, when Uglytaco’s text of what he actually said was completely taken out of context, and was more akin to an understanding of the decision to invade versus full-throated support of it.

Okay I’m glad that you can’t take context into account I’ll keep that in mind next time I need to explain things to youCool, but that’s not what Occupy Democrats said, so they’re hypocrites, thus my point.
I dunno dude.... I read his quotes on the matter and it's a pretty hard sell to say he isn't at a minimum totally ambivalent towards daddy vladdy invading a budding democracy, if not supportive of it. That is a bad look for a former head of a democratic western state. That's not leadership, and it doesn't instill any faith in me that he would have handled this any better, as many people are claiming. It’s almost like the definitions of military and civilian combatant are different ? maybe you need to look them up before moving goalposts.

You don’t see CNN blasting a headline of “war historian is clearly a Nazi because they said Hitler’s Blitzkrieg was effective.”
Kind of sounds like an actual regulated militiaOh they’re defending themselves from a military and the government handed out weapons, almost like they didn’t need them before. It’s almost like they’re combatants now
