Notice how quiet natca is on all of this "mandate" talk? It almost seems like they are holding info from members on potential exceptions/accommodations.

My hunch is natca has convinced the FAA to try and get some sort of exemption or delay going and they sent it up the chain. Meanwhile the FAA has begun the process of notifying employees of the requirement so when the White House slaps down their request everything is still on track to comply with the EO.

So any idea when the info on medical exemptions might come out? Before anyone gets mad at me, no doctor who wants to keep their license will give me the shot before it's too late due to CDC guidance. So it's completely out of my hands. So I'd rather not get fired over something I can't control.

If you have a medical condition that prevents you from getting the vaccine I’d guess the flight surgeon probably knows about it and if it’s in the CDC guidelines they would be able to verify that. But like everything else with this who the fuck knows really.

Anyone ‘waiting on exemption information’ is completely full of shit. The vaccines have been out for over a year. You would have known a long time ago that you couldn’t get one for allergies/health reasons. You would have known even before covid that your religion objected to certain vaccines and medications. But most people probably wouldn’t know that considering every major Christian denomination supports the covid vaccine. So good luck using the religious exemption unless you’ve been part of the Dutch Reformed Church prior to 2020. Also good luck using the sincerely held religious belief of ‘I don’t wanna, you can’t make me’.

I was told by one of our supervisors today that if you want to file for a medical or religious exemption that you have to notify your supervisor of what you believe qualifies you and they email the appropriate person and it gets taken up from there, completely out of house.
