I prefer upland birds for a leisure activity but ya nothing better than 100 percent organic free range red meat and the deer stand is my solo zen time.
Nothing better than the peace and quiet. When I was younger I primarily gun hunted, but now I’m obsessed with bowhunting. Even going out in the yard and practicing shooting my bow is fun/relaxing. Deer meat practically kept me alive when I was In College and broke

NATCA sending out a bunch of emails about random shit but none about the fact that the vaccine mandate is real lmao

We got this from our local:

Dear FAA Colleagues,
Since the start of the pandemic, 5,691 FAA employees have had confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 33 FAA employees and contractors have lost their lives to this disease. If you're still unvaccinated, I urge you to carefully weigh the potential tragic costs of your inaction to yourself, your coworkers, and your family.
Unvaccinated individuals are at significantly higher risk of developing severe cases of COVID-19 and death than those who are vaccinated. Vaccines are safe to get, easy to find, and free of cost. Visit vaccines.gov to find a location near you and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
As the President communicated on September 9, and I stated in my message to the workforce on September 20, all Federal employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 22, 2021. In order to meet this deadline and be considered “fully vaccinated,” you must have received your second Moderna or Pfizer dose, or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccination, by November 8, 2021. Failure to comply with Executive Order 14043 Requiring Vaccination for Federal Employees will result in disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from federal service.
All FAA employees must attest to their vaccination status using the online application athttps://attest.faa.gov by November 8, 2021. The online application now requires you to provide proof of your COVID-19 vaccination or provide electronic notice that you intend to seek an exemption via a reasonable accommodation from the federal vaccine requirement. Even if you previously used the online application to attest to your vaccination status, or provided physical proof of your vaccination to your manager, you must now update your status (if your status has changed) and upload your proof of vaccination through the online application.
All non-bargaining unit employees and managers are asked to immediately attest to their vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination at attest.faa.gov. All FAA bargaining unit employees will be required to attest to their vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination at attest.faa.govbeginning on October 12, 2021 and to be completed by November 8, 2021.
If you are requesting an exemption for a religious or medical reason, you must attest to your current vaccination status via attest.faa.gov AND submit a religious or medical reasonable accommodation request to your manager. As a federal employee, you are entitled to request a religious and/or medical reasonable accommodation request at any time. However, for the purpose of receiving a vaccine exemption and not being subject to subsequent discipline, you must initiate your reasonable accommodation request by November 8, 2021.
If you fail to attest to your vaccination status via attest.faa.gov by November 8, 2021, you will be considered noncompliant with Executive Order 14043 and may be subject to discipline. You can find more information about how to use the online proof of vaccination application and the religious and/or medical reasonable accommodation request process on the Future of Work page on MyFAA.
Again, I ask you to seriously consider getting vaccinated for your health and that of your colleagues, family, and friends.

Wow that’s actually informative and not beating around the bush. My local/region hasn’t sent anything

That’s all we got in Jersey lol. But we don’t use dogs. Some people do, but not me and my friends.
Ya wild birds are a whole different ballgame, especially later in the season on public land. Almost impossible to get them to fly and not run without a dog and blockers sometimes.

Any quail up there? That's fun shooting too.

I need to get back into Archery. That's something I need to practice regularly to be comfortable taking a deer with, but here it extends the season quite a bit, and I need the flexibility now. Kinda want to buy a flintlock and give that a go as well, make muzzeloader season a little more interesting than being another rifle season with a single shot.

If you check your FAA email you'll see the exact same message DV posted. It's not "from" the local, they just forwarded it on.
Well there’s literally stuff people are saying like the faa emails don’t mean anything. Or that it only applies to management and not BUEs. Which I don’t believe.

I don’t usually check my faa email since they made it so you can’t check from your phone anymore

How did you get it setup? Mine stopped working after they switched to office 365. It said I didn’t ah et permission or something
You just have to set the authenticator up in outlook. It’s in the security settings not exactly sure where.

You asked, we answered: Do the COVID-19 vaccines contain aborted fetal cells?

Your whistleblower didn’t whistle blow anything that wasn’t already known long ago.

And if you’re going to use that for a religious exemption, perhaps you should be advised of some other medicines that use fetal tissue lines, such as Tylenol, Motrin, acetaminophen, Aspirin, ibuprofen, Benadryl, Sudafed and many other common ones. So if you’re going to go for a religious exemption for the Covid vaccine based on that, better not have a history of using any of these others.
