My other favorite thing is banging the drum on illegal aliens and the fact that there’s no one that wants to work anymore.

So they aren’t stealing our jobs anymore I guess

It just makes no sense to cover an actual invasion and then start saying shit like but what about the U.S. Mexico border. Is putin allowing illegal aliens in?!
I guess Tucker criticized the possibility of Dems wanting to protect Ukraine border when US border has been a mess while allowing everyone in without C19 check ups or vax requirement, etc. totally backwards from when Dems demanded US people show vax passports for gym, restaurant entry.

No they are going to go join Russias socialized healthcare system and get paid to have babies.

The us isn’t protecting the Ukrainian border tho. The Russians just drove dozens of tanks straight across it.

Are you saying the US wouldn’t protect the border if there was 190,000 Russian soldiers on the other side of it?

Dang. Sounds like socialist-type wet dream. Yeah send US socialist ideologues over there so they can see the sad reality of that type of government.

The possibility of Dems wanting to protect Ukraine’s border.

I’m not playing the are you saying game

Oh you mean those things the rest of the western world has decided are good for society? Yes it's terrible.

I will say they appear to be decidedly less woke to a large margin in my experience.

There is no possibility...... The Russians are in Ukraine.

Are we living in the same reality?

Russia already invaded Ukraine. The dems aren’t protecting russias border. NATO is protecting polands border just in case. they are also helping evacuee and us citizens leave Ukraine. If you think that unreasonable then idk what to tell you

Ok we moved from one point to another. You are correct, Russians are in Ukraine. What now
Idk you said the dems are protecting Ukraines border so you tell us what the new talking point is

You can’t possibly know what I think. Good on the evacuation, hell yeah, save as many people. Sanctions are set, now we will see the domino effect

I absolutely did not say that. Are we living in the same reality? Peter Gibbons

"Yo imma burn your house down, I got a nice oven box for you and the fam down the road though"

I mean honestly what is it you expect to happen with this domino effect? I'm genuinely curious.

Not me.

Seen the effects of sanctions with Cuba (Fidel didn’t give a flying ass, he even said he didn’t need the US) & Venezuela (best examples) - it mostly affects the people of those countries.

Therefore we have heard Biden talk about the rising in gas prices after announcing the sanctions. All because Russia has pipelines and supplies a good amount of gas to Europe, etc. meanwhile who knows, Keystone got cancelled, but USA makes their own too (I don’t believe solar panels will save the day)

With that in mind we know that a higher increase in gas prices to $5 in the east coast (for example) will have a ripple effect on the cost of goods & services throughout the USA; this is on top of the inflation we are living in. We know wages haven’t gone up as much, right?
So the most affected first will be the poor and the middle class because their dollars won’t be worth due to inflation and higher prices of goods and services.

Lets hope it doesn’t go that far tho. But that’s basically the ripple effect that sanctions could cause on the American people (by sanctioning Russia then Russia could counter by cutting off gas supply to Europe & USA).

Claiming they are doing the right thing by evaccing people is kinda dumb when they could have just.....not invaded in the first place.

The sanctions imposed mostly affect the govs ability to subsidize debt with foreign money, and for a few oligarchs. I'm guessing they are relatively toothless at this time because they are leaving more costly measures on the table for if things escalate further.

Just heard on NPR this morning we actually supply more LNG to Europe than Russia does. Not that this won't have an effect on gas prices, just food for thought.

Like I said the other day, I'm willing to pay a little more at the pump if it means not having to intervene militarily down the road. I don't want to see my neighbor's son, or my son in 16 years having to go fight when it's Poland or Latvia instead of Ukraine.

They don't supply any gas at all to us I don't think here in the US. I'm honestly more worried about the possibility of cyber attacks on our infrastructure than I am fuel shortages.

Royer all of that, why is then Bixen saying things are going to get worse?
Yeah nobody wants the war either, I think Americans are too tired of war, on top of that if US goes to war then China will be sitting in the back waiting for their chance.

Purely speculative opinion based on absolutely nothing but my feefees but I don't think china does anything in Taiwan or otherwise in the near term unless the western powers get fully enveloped in eastern Europe, which is exactly what they are trying to avoid by going the sanctions route.
