I just see you and other people unabashedly describe the events that day as an insurrection, yet the facts show evidence of only 6 out of 2500 people participated in anything having to do with that. Why should the actions of 6 define the actions of the entire 2500?

I laugh at every time they call it an “insurrection” people were literally walking in and taking photos. It wasn’t some violent takeover with a plan. A bunch of idiots with no weapons went on a field trip.

No pre assigning facilities. At the very end, they ask you where you want to live, and that’s where you go. And place you on the other side of the country. And that’s where you go.

The real answer: after all evaluations are done at the end of your academy, they say “here’s the list of options, highest score picks first”

When you request a facility before-hand for a specific reason (ie. married to a controller on a facility) and when the list comes out you cannot select anything from the list because you’re already pre-assigned.

From what I’ve seen in the past, if you have a bona fide reason to get a slot at a specific facility, they’ll just have a slot for that facility allotted that only you can select.

Yes, that’s what I’ve seen too. But the thing is, how do you do that? I do have a legit reason and the facility is an undesirable location which usually only appears on Alts.

there’s a placement department at OKC you would talk to. what’s your legit reason? I think the only reason is that you are married to a controller. You can’t do a hardship until you are placed

Only way to hardship right out of the academy is married to a controller. Day one, they ask everyone if you are married to a controller and they take care of it at that point. You would go through the academy, have to pass like everyone else and there will be a list given to everyone and your facility the spouse is at would be where you go. Nobody can bump you, guaranteed. Good luck!
