Working under imposed conditions or not?

So with less than 24 hours' notice from my manager, called back into the office to work citing "more beneficial for the facility to be in office" but won't give further written explanation, denies cancelling or modifying the telework agreement; "it's still active in case we need it", unable to approve alternate days, no additional duties or changes in work to be done.... just keeps going. What are the excuses you're hearing to cover their #$*&'s? For sure wasn't unexpected, just watching the peddling can be annoying and amusing at the same time.

The excuse is “fuck you I said so.” It’s like no one has been paying attention.
